Folk Papercut Photobook
Folk Papercut draws on the Polish tradition of Łowicz paper cutting: every motif is built from several overlapping layers of coloured paper, with frilled edges and little cut-out holes. Tulips in red, orange and purple, rosettes, a pair of birds and a tree of life form a joyful frieze beneath the cover photo. A colourful, homely design for family photos, holidays at grandma and grandpa's and memories from the whole year.
The ornament keeps to the edges and the opening pages, while the centre of every page belongs to the photos. White pages feature narrow openwork bands with frills, diamonds and tiny flowers in red, navy or green, and chapters begin with a cream page bearing a bouquet of tulips or a tree of life. We print the photobook on 200gsm photo paper and bind it in a hard laminated cover, in any of five formats.
